WKRP in Cincinnati
Whenever a Cincinnati radio channel changes to top-40 stone'n' roll from music, its own staff of oddball characters is forced to switch gears fast. New programming manager Andy Travis brings at a new DJ called Venus Flytrap to operate with the channel's burned-out veteran, Dr. Johnny Fever. Neurotic newsman Les Nessman, sleazy salesman Herb Tarlek excited beaver Bailey Quarters bomb shell Jennifer Marlowe, that serves as the ultra-capable receptionist of the station, also channel manager Arthur Carlson, whose mother possesses WKRP, round the group outside.
