The Doris Day Show
The Doris Day Show is an American sitcom that was originally broadcast from September 1968 remaining on the air for 128 episodes and five seasons. Besides showcasing the show is remembered because of the many abrupt format changes. It's also recalled for Day's statement, in her autobiography Doris Day: Her Own Story, her husband Martin Melcher had signed her to do the TV show without her knowledge, a fact she only discovered when Melcher died of cardiovascular problems on April 20, 1968. The TV series proved on Tuesday, September 2-4, 1968.
