The Beat
The Beat erupts to the private and professional lives of two police recruits who patrol the roads of New York. The town's daily machinations are seen through the bloodshot eyes of Officers Mike Dorigan and Zane Marinelli, just two youthful partners who are products in their generation and unique environment. Issues of race police -- and New York locals' quirkiness -- compel both men to rely on their own sense of humor to make it.
