Quark
Quark is an American science fiction situation comedy starring Richard Benjamin. The pilot first aired on May 7, 1977, and the show followed as being a mid-season replacement in February 1978. The show had been cancelled in April 1978. Buck Henry made quark, co-creator of the spy spoof Get Smart.
The series had been put to a United Galaxy Sanitation Patrol Cruiser, an interstellar garbage scow working out of United Galaxies Space Station Perma One at the year 2226. Adam Quark, the main character, works to clean up trash in distance by collecting"distance baggies" along with his trusted and highly peculiar crew.
In its short run, Quark satirized including sciencefiction like Star Wars, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Flash Gordon. Three of the episodes were lead satires of Star Trek episodes.
The show won one Emmy Award nomination, for costume developer Grady Hunt's job from the event"Each of the Emperor's Quasi-Norms, Part two".
The complete show was released on DVD.
