Takumi Fujiwara could be the son of the owner of a tofu shop that is local. In the night, Fujiwara gets into his souped up AE86 Sprinter Trueno (AE86 Corolla GT-APEX) and races on the seldom-used Japanese mountain roads. Through which Fujiwara resides one night, a club, the Akagi Red Suns team, challenges the Akina Speed Stars to some race on the mountain. One among the leaders of the Red Suns, keisuke, races his Mazda RX-7 that is legendary - only to be conquered by the Fujiwara that is cryptic.
