Crossroads
Crossroads is a British television soap opera set in a fictional motel near Birmingham, England. Created by Hazel Adair and Peter Ling, the commercial ITV network broadcast the series between 1964 and 1988. Later by Central and produced by ATV it turned into a byword in the 1970s and early 1980s, specially for production values. The series was revived in a more glossy version by Carlton Television in 2001, however, was cancelled in 2003.
The theme song was composed by Tony Hatch, also covered by Paul McCartney & Wings on the 1975 album Venus and Mars. Raf Ravenscroft and Max Early, composed if the series was relaunched as Crossroads, Kings Oak A brand new edition, that was aired in 1987.
