A Family at War
Since their sons have been sent away to fight, the Ashton family struggles to deal with the harsh realities of the next World War. Since they sleep at night those that remain at Liverpool are now living in fear of a knock in the door using a telegram from the War Office and also the Luftwaffe bombs overhead .
