Novalee Nation is currently a 17-year-old Tennessee passing who needs to mature in a rush when she's left pregnant and left by her boyfriend on a road side at Sequoyah, Okla., also takes refuge in the friendly aisles of walmart. In short order, a few bizarre, kindly strangers"embrace" Novalee and her baby daughter, helping them match the odds and make a new life.
