A driver and a traveling around america jumped from drag strip to drag strip. They race betting together with their competitors. The set gain a stow away that is talkative and young. On the way they unwittingly draw in a drifter forcing a brand new Pontiac GTO. Their own efforts are, antagonized by this older man, searching for attention.
