The aspirant photographer Joanna Eberhart that is urban goes from Manhattan to Stepford, Connecticut with her family. Her husband Walter Eberhart decided to live at a calm suburb, however, Joanna did not enjoy the neighborhood. She becomes friend of Bobbie Markowe and Charmaine Wimperis, once they change Joanna attempts to flee.
