The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Balthazar Blake is just actually a master sorcerer in modern day Manhattan trying to shield the city Maxim Horvath, from his arch-nemesis. Balthazar can't do it alone, and he recruits Dave Stutler, a guy who demonstrates potential that is hidden, because his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his accomplice a collision course in the science and art of magic, and together, these partners work to halt the forces of darkness.
