Team masseur Sonny, his closest friend, unable to provide him with any reassurances about the future of his career. Even so, a serendipitous encounter with the young Irish doctor, Lynn, helps to ease Dom's transition into civilian life. As he prepares to return home and confront his estranged sister, a catastrophic doping error removes another teammate from the Tour, and Dom is forced to go back on the bike again...
