The Pit and the Pendulum
Set during the height of Spanish Inquisition. The stunning and kindhearted Maria is detained as a witch when she inadvertently cries in horror at the general public spat of a kid. Since Maria's husband Antonio tries to save , the Grand Inquisitor, Torquemada, determines to punish Maria with torture to the desire she's inflames in him. Loosely based on Edgar Allen Poe's classic short story.
