Sullivan's Travels
Successful movie manager John L. Sullivan, convinced he will not be able to picture his challenging master piece until he has endured, siphoned a hobo disguise and sets off on a travel, aiming to"know problem" first-hand. When all he sees is a train ride back to Hollywood and a beautiful companion he redoubles his efforts, managing to land himself in more trouble than he bargained for when he eventually ends up a prisoner on the chain gang and loses his memory.
