A Hollywood dog groomer aims to be more than just a Hollywood dog groomer in the future. Michael Pinkney is a middle-aged man who is striving to maintain his lower-income lifestyle in the shadow of the movie business. His employment is degrading, his home is infested with vermin, and his mind is constantly wandering into a low-fi dreamscape reminiscent of his analog video experiments. When Michael meets Cora, the girl of his dreams, his monotonous routine takes a dangerous turn and he loses control.
