After a state singer whined that she can turn anyone into some country-singin' celebrity, she is out to prove she could live up to her talk when she recruits a cabdriver as a country singer. He's scheduled to sing at a big-time NYC country night club and now she even puts her considerable powers to work in preparing her protege.
