Mississippi Grind
Gerry is actually just a gambler whose fortunes start to change when he meets Curtis, a younger, poker player that is exceptionally charismatic. The two strike up an immediate friendship along with Gerry quickly persuades his new friend to accompany him to a high stakes poker game in New Orleans on a roadtrip. While they make their way down the Mississippi River, Gerry and Curtis figure out how to find themselves in just about every single pub, race track, casino, and pool hall they can find, inducing both incredible highs and dispiriting lows, but fundamentally forging a profound and bond that will stick to them after their experience is over.
