Upon discovery of that which may be the Loc-Nar of a shard, a miner named Tyler becomes possessed with an insatiable thirst for power and a thirst for immortality. On his approach to the planet of childhood, Tyler kidnaps a gorgeous young woman and wipes out a lot of a shuttle. His real mistake is the fact that he does not kill her sister, Julie, who sets out on a mission of rescue and revenge.
