East of the Mountains
When retired heart cosmetic surgeon Ben Givens learns that he has incurable cancer, he takes his cherished dog back to his boyhood home in Eastern Washington, identified to finish his life on his own terms. Ben's journey, though, takes an unanticipated turn, and also quickly becomes a journey versus which he pits himself with characteristic stoicism, wit, and determination.
