Roger, a politician that is straight laced has plans to propose to his dream girl at her family's lakehouse. But everything goes awry when he meets his prospective brotherinlaw Todd: a full-time camp adviser using a heart of gold and a crazy sense of pleasure, catapulting him to a string of regrettable events, and pining to be Roger's bestfriend. As Roger tries to have a stand amidst outrageous propulsive water jet-packs, fishing excursions and American history-themed musicals, he realizes that being part of a brand new family might be harder than he'd thought.
