It's 1984, and Michael Jackson is now king even in New Zealand, Waihau Bay. Here we meet Boy, a 11-year-old who resides on a plantation together with his gran, a goat, and his younger brother, Rocky (who believes he has magical powers). Right after Gran leaves for Weekly, Lady's daddy, Alamein, seems Without Warning. Having guessed a epic model of his dad throughout his absence, Boy comes face to face with the genuine incompetent hoodlum who's came back to find a purse of money he buried years before.
