Beasts of the Southern Wild
Hushpuppy, an intrepid girl, lives with her daddy, Wink in'the bath tub', a irrigation community at the edge of earth. Wink's tough love frees her for an occasion after he's no more to protect her -- to the unraveling of the world. When Wink contracts a mysterious illness, temperament flies out of whack--temperatures climb, and the ice caps meltdown, releasing a army of ancient creatures. With the aurochs arriving, the seas rising, along with Wink's health fading, Hushpuppy goes in search of her lost mum.
