The Sleeping City
A young doctor taking a break from work is shot in the head, and the cops have no idea why. Inspector Al Gordon (John Alexander) assigns an intern to the hospital, Fred Rowan (Richard Conte), a detective with military medical training. Rowan discovers a high-stress environment where interns are pressed for time, sleep, energy, and most importantly, money, and risk personal and professional ruin.
