Spring Eddy
Eddy, a dim-witted Chicago thug, is on the run. After robbing his boss, Eddy heads for Mexico, but is distracted by a lovely hitchhiker. A simple tryst ends with Eddy beaten, broken, and poor in Wynot, TX. After accidentally seeing Willet Nash, the county's all-powerful Sheriff, murder, Eddy tries to hold up a bank and flee, but his naive plan backfires and he's arrested by Nash. Eddy's sole hope of escaping jail is his jilted fiancée Jeannie.
