RISE
Rise is based on the true story of Will McIntyre, a young nurse who has his freedom taken away after a one-night stand turns into a rape charge. Despite his innocence, he is convicted. We're taken to a maximum-security jail, where Will's bravery and attempt to make sense of it all has a beneficial impact on Jimmy Cove, a hardened inmate famed for a run of armed robberies. In the meantime, Julie Nile, a Queen's Counsel Barrister, is asked to jeopardize her position and salary in order to prove his innocence.
