Back in New York, individuals are murdered and strangled to death brutally on the street. All witnesses agree that the murderer was at a cop's uniform. Soon the authorities searches and finds out a defendant in its own ranks: Jack Forrest, switched in by his wife. He's got to investigate on his own, to establish his innocence.
