The stars of a 1970 s sci-fi show--currently eking out a living during sci-fi traditions and re-runs --are beamed aboard an alien spacecraft. Believing the heroic dramas that are on-screen of that the cast are historical documents of experiences, aliens' group turn into the ill fated celebrities for help in their search to overcome the oppressive regime within their system.
