Dead Man's Eyes
The artist David Stuart has his vision impaired by an assistant who doubles as a model and is filled with envy. His future father-in-law is extremely kind and volunteers his eyes for a sight-restoration operation. The one catch is that Stuart can't act until after the other person has passed away. When the benefactor suffers an unnaturally early demise, it is hardly surprising that suspicion will fall on the artist.
