Confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica Pierce is wrongly convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her whole family. However when her psychologist presents a new therapeutic"tool" to facilitate his patients' group sessions -- a all-too-familiar"Good Guy" doll using an abysmal grinning face -- a string of gruesome deaths begins to plague the asylum, also Nica starts to wonder if she isn't mad after all. Meanwhile, Andy Barclay, Chucky's now all-grown-up nemesis from the initial three Child's Plays, races to Nica's aid. But to save her he will have to find past Tiffany, Chucky's long ago bride, that will do any such thing, however mortal or perverted, to help her wicked fated doll.
