Keeping Up Appearances
Keeping Up Appearances is a sitcom written and created by Roy Clarke for the BBC. Centred on the life of social-climbing snob Hyacinth Bucket, the sitcom follows her efforts to impress in class society and depict herself more wealthy than she's.
The show stars Patricia Routledge, who received two BAFTA nominations for her operation. Broadcast on BBC One, the sit-com recorded five string and 44 episodes--which can be Christmas specials 4. Maintaining Appearances was a excellent success in the UK and captivated a large audience in Australia, Canada, and america, when Routledge wished to proceed on to other projects, but production stopped in 1995. Since its original release, all five series--for example Christmas specials--are all on DVD. In Britain's Best Sitcom's countdown , the sitcom was ranked 12th Back in 2004. It is repeated.
