Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist is an American animated series which originally ran on Comedy Central by May 28, 1995 to December 24, 1999--with a last group of three shelved episodes drifting in 2002--starring Jonathan Katz, Jon Benjamin, and Laura Silverman. The series Was Made by some Burbank with Tom Snyder and Jonathan Katz, developed and made by Popular Arts for HBO Downtown Productions. Tom Snyder Productions became the hands on production company, and also the episodes have been often produced by Loren and Katz Bouchard.
The series was video animated in a primitive identifiable style produced with the applications Squigglevision in which all persons and reestablish objects are colored and also have squiggling outlines, while many other inanimate objects are static and usually grey in color.
